PROFILE

 

The only national management system certification organization is SNIMA’s management system certification body (SNIMA/Certification). Its work was defined in Decree n° 2-93-530 of October 20, 1993. This branch coordinates the actions of all bodies involved in the management system certification process under the management of DQN’s director.

 

CHARGES

 

  • To put in place, manage and develop a national certification system conforming to the relevant international standards.
  • To provide, upon request, third-party certification of business’ conformity with relevant quality (NM ISO 9001), environmental (NM ISO 14001) and health and employee safety (NM 00.5.801) standards.
  • To provide continued compliance surveillance after certification has been granted.
  • To promote the national certification system.

To lead the national certification to be an example of high-quality service and client partnership.

  • Certification decisions are made by sector-specific committees made up of buyers, decision makers, public agencies and technical organizations in order to ensure certificate credibility.

Our auditors are highly qualified and known for their competence, technical mastery and responsiveness. Our auditors have technicalqualifications various economic sectors so that at least one inspector will have experience in your business’ field.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

 

Management System Committee (CSM) structure and attributes

 

1. Structure:

 

The Committee presidence is assured by the Director of Standardisation and Quality Promotion. The Committee is composed of members from four groups :
Group A : Professional organizations that represent businesses that would like to benefit from certification
Group B : Consumer organizations and decision-makers representing the point of view of consumers who would take MCI certification into account in their purchases’
Group C :; Technical organizations or groups as well as all legal or natural persons working in the quality promotion field (Technical inspection organizations, quality promotion associations, etc.);
Group D: Public administrations.

 

The organisations that supply committee members from these four groups (A, B, C, D) are set by MCI decree on SNIMA’s recommendation.

 

2. Attributes:

 

The Committee is charged with:

 

  • Studying general interest certification questions that are submitted by SNIMA or any committee member;
  • Examining appeals.

 

Certification Committees Mission, Structure and Attributes:

 

1. Mission:

To respond to certification requests from different sectors, certification sub committees created by the CSM have been created.

Specific sub committees to be created:

· Multi-sector sub committee (CCPS);

 

-sector-specific sub committees:

 

  • CCIAA: Agro-Food Industry Certification sub Committee;
  • CCICP: Chemistry and Para chemistry Industry Certification sub Committee;
  • CCIMME: Mechanics, Metallurgy, Electricity and Electronics Industry Certification sub Committee;
  • CCIBTP: Public Buildings and Works Industry Certification sub Committee;

 

2. Structure

 

The committees are made up of representatives from the different groups interested in certification in the relevant field. These representatives are chosen on a basis of guaranteeing impartiality by ensuring fair and balanced representation of interests.

 

The sub committees are created, modified and dissolved by the CSM.

 

3. Attributes:

 

Certification sub committees are charged with:

 

  • Examining audit results;
  • Proposing certification decisions;
  • Dealing with complaints.
